01Who is behind this?
Led by a founder with more than a decade leading machine learning and data teams at top-tier technology companies — building systems that solved problems most of the industry wasn’t equipped to touch — combined with hands-on experience applying those methods inside institutional quant investing. Additional team members will be named as Hoyud comes out of beta.
02Is this a robo-advisor?
No. Robo-advisors pick from a handful of pre-built portfolios and rebalance on a calendar. Hoyud runs a machine-learning allocation engine that adapts continuously — institutional-grade machinery, pointed at your account instead of theirs.
03What if you disappear?
Your account is with Interactive Brokers, not with us. If Hoyud stops trading tomorrow, your positions remain exactly as they were. You owe nothing.
04Can I see the model?
No. Every trade we place shows up in your brokerage account — visible to you, but also enough information for others to reverse-engineer our approach if they were motivated. Keeping the model private is what preserves the edge you’re paying for.
05Past performance?
Hoyud’s performance is tracked across backtests, paper-traded portfolios, and live-money accounts — each a distinct category with its own meaning and limits. If it were up to us, we’d show all of it, to everyone, in full. But what can be shown publicly, and to whom, is tightly governed by SEC rules — so we don’t publish performance figures on this page.
